Bahman Shahi

Bahman is a Fulbright scholar from Afghanistan and strategic planning fellow at Search for Common Ground. He served as project manager for the Afghans for Progressive Thinking and program coordinator for the Seeds of Peace in Afghanistan. He worked to promote a culture of openness, respect, and tolerance and helped Afghan youth to develop skills for peacebuilding. He identifies as a peacebuilding practitioner and researches and writes about peace, justice, and reconciliation. Bahman also attends panels and provide commentary on issues related to peace, justice, and reconciliation. He holds an MA in conflict transformation from the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding.
