GPPR associate interview editor, Kevin Barsaloux, sits down for a conversation with Mr. Thomas Gallagher. Mr Gallagher is an adjunct lecturer at the McCourt School of Public Policy and a Principal at the Snowcroft group. He also sits on the Global Investment Committee of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Private Wealth Division, is vice Chairman of CEBM, and is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Mental Floss magazine.
The conversation covers China’s monetary and fiscal policy in the face of market shocks and diminished economic growth, with Mr. Gallagher providing insights on the mechanisms China is using to mitigate capital flow outside the country, the effects that China’s changing economy have on other markets, and what the future looks like for the Chinese and world economies.
