From Gwacheon, South Korea, Joanna is a first-year MPP student. She worked for 6 years at the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, where she supported international trade for small and medium-sized enterprises. She graduated from Korea University with a bachelor’s degree in French and holds an MPP from Seoul National University. She is passionate about the intersection of trade and environmental policies, particularly how global climate policies can be effectively implemented across governments with diverse socio-economic conditions and institutional capacities. In her free time, she enjoys films, traveling, and photography.
