Alisha Bi
Junior Editor, Spring

From San Ramon, California, Alisha is an M.S. candidate in the Data Science for Public Policy program at Georgetown McCourt. Previously, she served as Special Assistant to the Director in the U.S. Department of Defense’s Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), advising senior leadership on operational execution in the Department’s innovation priorities. Prior to that, she worked at WestExec Advisors, a geopolitical advisory firm. Her other experiences include roles with the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service in Shanghai, Foreign Policy for America, Congress, and various campaigns. Alisha holds a B.A. in Political Science from Bucknell University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading science fiction and spending time with her crotchety dog.
