Daija Yisrael
Senior Editor, Podcast

Daija Yisrael, a second-year Master of International Development Policy candidate at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tulane University (with minors in French and anthropology). Before pursuing her Master’s degree, she worked at Prince George’s County Council, the legislative branch of the second largest county in Maryland, for Council Member Tom Dernoga. Her research interests are primary education, empowerment, and efficient public goods provision. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, and encountering Black experiences in colonial archives.
