Editor in Chief: Justin Goss
Justin Goss is a second year Master of Public Policy student and hails from the Silicon Valley area and migrated a short two hours north to the pastoral lands of Davis, CA where he majored in Political Science and Philosophy amongst the bovine co-residents Davis is best known for. His policy interests include energy policy, tech policy, and most recently health policy. He has experience working in government at the Federal and State levels. When not working to bring GPPR to the bleeding edge of the data journalism revolution, he enjoys talking about the greatness of Bay Area sports, and spending time with any and all animals (his girlfriend is veterinary student so he really does mean all). Managing Editor: Amanda Ryan
Amanda is a second-year MPP student at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy. She received her BA in economics and French in 2014 from the University of Virginia, and worked for a year in education after graduating. Her policy interests include economic development and foreign policy. During her time at Georgetown, Amanda has served on the Executive Board of the Women in Public Policy Initiative and interned with Action Global Health Advocacy and the European Parliament Liaison Office. Senior Media Editor: Kristina Rodriguez
Kristina received a B.S. in Human Communication (conc. Cognitive Science) from Northwestern University in 2011. Prior to enrolling in the McCourt MPP program, she was a program evaluation analyst for the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago – working particularly with the organization’s preschool and afterschool programs. She also completed an AmeriCorps service year at After School Matters, a nonprofit focused on youth employment, where she worked on program evaluation and staff development. Overall, her policy interests include education and urban and community development. In her free time she enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, photography, and dabbling in graphic design.
Senior Media Editor: Nghia-Piotr T Le
Piotr was raised in Warsaw, Poland. His parents emigrated to Poland seeking better economic prospects for themselves and their children. The memories and stories of poverty and starvation that his parents and sister had to overcome supplemented his education in a newly freed Polish republic and continue to be his motivation though life. At the age of 16 he moved to the U.S. and obtained a BA in both Economics and Political Economies from the University of California, Berkeley.
Interview Editor: Kevin Barsaloux
Kevin Barsaloux is a second year MPP student at the McCourt School of Public Policy. Originally from Chicago, IL, he came to D.C. last year to begin grad school. He is very interested in economics, education, and the future of labor. In addition, he closely follows politics on both the local and national level. Kevin has a background in theatre and experience in both video and audio production and is very excited to help bring excellent multimedia content to GPPR.

Delaney Luna is a second year MPP candidate at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. Earning her B.A. at the University of California, Berkeley, she studied political economy and public policy while working in a variety of local government, political, and academic settings. Her policy interests include financial security and economic inclusion, and her most recent work experience includes nonprofit asset-building. Delaney is originally from Coronado, CA.
Senior Online Editor: Shane McCarthy
Shane McCarthy is a second-year MPP candidate from Newtown, Connecticut. He received a B.A. from American University where he studied international relations and economics, interned for then-Representative Chris Murphy and studied abroad in London and Belfast. After graduating Shane spent three years in the field of civic education, working with students from across the country to make their voices heard in DC. He has also lived in Guangzhou, China where he worked as a kindergarten teacher, freelance writer, and pub quiz host. Senior Online Special Series Editor: John Allison
John Allison is a Policy Focus Editor at the Georgetown Public Policy Review and is a second year MPP student at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. He is a proud native of Kansas where he recently completed his undergraduate degree at Kansas State University. His areas of policy interest include health policy and poverty.
Senior Spring Editor: Kathy Wroblewska
A Chicago native, Kathy Wroblewska is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Policy degree from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. She has a B.A. in History from the University of Chicago, with a minor in Human Rights. Prior to returning to graduate school, Kathy served as an AmeriCorps member with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, a food bank in Chicago, and then worked there for an additional two years with the SNAP Outreach Department. She currently interns at a think tank in DC working on issues related to food assistance programs. Kathy is interested broadly in social policy, and particularly in federal safety net programs. In her spare time, she enjoys trying out new restaurants, cooking new cuisines, catching up with Chip and Jo on HGTV, and hanging out with her super fluffy dog, Copper.
Senior Spring Media Editor: Austin Szabo
Austin Kabbaz Szabo is Senior Spring Media Editor for GPPR and designer of the GPPR Spring 2016 website. Originally from Los Angeles, he is pursuing a Masters in Public Policy at the McCourt School in Georgetown. He has a B.A. in Political Science and Classical Civilizations from Loyola Marymount University, where he was a Senior Editor for Asia Media International and led the university’s Archeology Center. He’s passionate about income inequality, women’s rights and socialism and dreams of living in an truly liberated world. He loves archery, baking, and awful music.
Business Manager: Andrew Smith
Andrew Smith earned a BBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting in 2009. Following graduation Andrew moved to London, England where he spent four years working as a Business Manager in Corporate Risk Solution and Emerging Markets before moving onto the Emerging Markets Foreign Exchange Desk. In 2013, he moved to Singapore where he continued working at RBS as a G10 Foreign Exchange Trader. Andrew moved back to the US to start at the McCourt School where he follows his policy interests in Energy and Environmental Policy. He spent the summer working as an analyst at Concentric Energy Advisors.
